For more than a year, she and her children pray for their daddy in Iranian prison, devastated that Prsident Obama has not demanded his release. She believes if her husband were Muslim, Obama would do so, but because her husband is Christians and Obama is Muslim (his statements on YouTube), he has no interest.
According to the White House, the release of Abedini — a U.S. citizen who was born in Iran and who was working in an Iranian government-approved orphanage when he was arrested — did not enter discussions that took place last week in in Geneva.

On ABC’s This Week with Martha Raddatz, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) admitted that Democrats knew full well that Americans would be booted from their health insurance plans as an effect of Obamacare.
This means democratic senators were complicit in the lie to deceive us, maybe not wanting to participate, but maybe they would lose too much to speak out? Whatever is implied, this Obamacare deception is NOT good. Click to read more…
Obama has been easing sanctions on Iran for the past five months without Congressional approval, and despite the lack of any agreement over the Islamic regime’s nuclear weapons program. For more information on this article, click here….

(WASHINGTON TIMES) Maryland State Police and federal agents used a search warrant in an unrelated criminal investigation to seize the private reporting files of an award-winning former investigative journalist for The Washington Times who had exposed problems in the Homeland Security Department’s Federal Air Marshals Service.
Reporter Audrey Hudson said the investigators, who included an agent for Homeland Security’s Coast Guard service, made a pre-dawn raid of her family home Aug. 6 and took her private notes and government documents that she had obtained under the Freedom of Information Act.
The documents, some which chronicled her sources and her work at The Times about problems inside the Homeland Security Department, were seized under a warrant to search for unregistered firearms and a “potato gun” suspected of belonging to her husband, Paul Flanagan, a Coast Guard employee. Mr. Flanagan has not been charged with any wrongdoing since the raid.
Dr. Savage is outraged by the actions of the D.C. police, who killed a young mother who’d led them through a high speed chase in the nation’s capital.
“I have been depressed ever since that woman was assassinated,” Savage said, adding, “I believe America died” that day (free audio).
The president’s approval ratings are now at an all-time low, especially among independents, and Savage explained why:
“Obama made one critical error: His meanness came through. His inner Grinch came out. When he closed the National Mall to the World War II vets and to the Vietnam Vets, it spread through the country like a prairie fire. Then he opened it up to the illegals and their supporters.
“The people hate him. They don’t like what he’s doing to this country.” For more, click here…
Kennesaw, Georgia (CNN) – Chrissy Gibson makes no apologies for her support.
Sure, she is upset her friends who work for the federal government have been furloughed. And yes, she dislikes that her family’s favorite hiking spot at one of Georgia’s premier national parks has been closed by the budget battle.
But she stands by U.S. Rep. Phil Gingrey, one of the approximately 40 tea party and conservative Republicans in the U.S. House of Representatives considered the architects of the government shutdown aimed at dismantling or defunding the Affordable Care Act, also referred to as Obamacare.
For many, Gingrey and these other lawmakers are responsible for furloughing hundreds of thousands of federal workers, closing national parks and monuments and shuttering federal research. But for many of those in their districts — people like Gibson and her family — these representatives are soldiers in a battle of principle, standing up to an out-of-control government. ”He’s standing up for what he believes, and somebody has to do that,” said Gibson, 37
Dr. Ben Carson has a great mind and a desire to truly serve America with a life-time of experience in medical care as opposed to Obamacare pushed together by big pharma and congress who don’t understand medical care but are eager to comply with the drug companies that contribute to their re-election campaigns. Medical care is NOT healthcare, and prescription drugs are a leading cause of illness, disability and death. Obamacare is bondage with higher costs and a loss of freedom that’s un-American.
Here’s Carson’s view–
Medical practice and healthcare policy are on a collision course. From an intellectual perspective, we are entering a golden age of the healing arts. The full promise of genomic medicine informing diagnosis and treatment beckons from just over the horizon. Younger physicians, just entering practice, have the ability to alleviate human suffering that no generation of doctors has ever previously known.
But not so fast.
The administration of health care policy, and ultimately dollars, are also undergoing a generational shift. But this shift is founded on some of the most irrational politics this country has ever seen. Future generations observing the political changes of the past five years will invariably say, “what were they thinking?”
The Affordable Care Act was not the product of any informed or learned group, it was a hastily contrived political farce that was literally cobbled together at the last possible minute. It was never intended to become law — except that it did. For the past 3 1/2 years literally “all the kings horses, and all of the kings men” have pushed and prodded to give it the appearance of workability. We are on the threshold of finding out if they were successful.
In medicine, we sometimes talk about the compression of morbidities, how the ravages of time and multiple maladies may overwhelm the patient at the end of life. That compression sequence also seems to describe afflictions of the Affordable Care Act as it careens towards implementation.
What a missed opportunity. For decades, the cost of healthcare and health insurance has worried Americans. And as we get closer to the full implementation of the Affordable Care Act, costs are not shrinking, they are only going up — way up.
Where was the innovation when this scheme was contrived? Why not look at some of the state models, such as the Healthy Indiana program, which reduced costs over 10% in a two year span? Where was the study of vertically integrated delivery systems such as the Mayo and Cleveland clinics?
Last week a headline in the Wall Street Journal reported that Walgreens has told their employees that they were not going to pay for health insurance coverage any longer, we will give you money instead, good luck in the exchanges and we will see you on the other side. Walgreens is only one of many companies such as UPS, IBM, and Trader Joe’s that have announced that they are dropping family coverage. Several Unions wrote to the minority leader in the House of Representatives and the majority leader in the Senate stating: please help us. We helped you manage your phone banks and walked neighborhoods for you. We helped you get elected. The administration is not listening to us. They have broken the contract with working Americans by voiding the 40 hour work. By redefining full-time employment as 30 hours, they have essentially broken the back of the middle-class.
The American people, regardless of political persuasion, are crying out for help.
It’s hard to overlook the big pieces of the president’s health care plan which are simply being ignored or jettisoned. From coverage of pre-existing conditions, to annual caps on out-of-pocket expenditures to the suspension of the employer requirement to provide health insurance; the administration has signaled that in many ways it is not serious about the implementation of this law.
And yet in hearing after hearing, directors of federal agencies maintain the assertion that all will be ready for people on October 1 to sign up, and January 1 to receive benefits. And not to worry, order will surely emerge from this chaos. Unless it does not.
This all leads us to the most important question. What kind of country and ideals we want to leave to future generations?
America was supposed to be a place where people could pursue their dreams in peace and without interference. The government was supposed to provide them with protection without disrupting their daily lives.
We were supposed to be different than the governments of Europe which dominated every aspect of their citizens’ lives. Obamacare represents a giant leap toward European-style socialism. If we can agree as a nation that that is what we truly want, let’s stop pretending to be a nation that holds the freedoms of its citizens’ in the highest regard. If on the other hand, we are truly a nation for, of and by the people, the people cannot be passive and expect freedom to last.
“Every nation practicing western medicine is on the brink of bankruptcy because drugs do not address the underlying cause, which is usually what we put in our mouths, says Dr. Richard Ruhling, retired physician who was board-certified in Internal Medicine before teaching Health Science at Loma Linda University.
Ruhling says he visited US Senate offices with medical literature showing prescription drugs are a leading cause of illness, disability and death until one senator said, “You are wasting your time–they own us,” speaking of drug company contributions to their re-election campaigns.
In return, big pharma gets what it wants and appears to be the principle contributor to Obamacare—a perfect setup for them with medical care being forced on all and prescriptions subsidized by taxes.
Ruhling decries the system that needs the insurance premiums from young people signing up to offset the cost of older folks should should have taken better care of themselves. He says medical care is not healthcare—the more medical care one gets, the worse one’s health becomes due to adverse drug effects that make medical care a leading cause of death, even under monitored conditions in hospitals. Journal of American Medical Assoc, 4-15-1998.
It’s poetic justice, thinks Ruhling, that the government shuts down over this issue. He sees that in Bible times, Elijah prayed that it wouldn’t rain to bring corrupt people to their senses.
Bible believers are invited to read James 5:17-20, to fast and pray with Ruhling on Monday, October 7, that the economy will crash as a call to legislative repentance. Readers may get a free copy of his ebook on Saturday or Sunday, Oct 5 or 6 titled October 7: Economic Collapse & Martial Law Could Be the End of America at http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ET80D6K where it has mostly 5-star reviews.
